Elective
To provide an opportunity for the resident to explore areas of interest in greater detail than the core rotations allow. This month can be spent outside of the state or country.
Our residents have chosen to fulfill their electives in the following places:
Residents also have used elective time to work on their research, explore fellowship opportunities, or work with community physicians in a private practice setting. Some residents have set up a minimally invasive surgery experience, and others have explored a specific topic area such as genetics or alternative medicine
