    Dr. Maria Fleseriu received her medical degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara and then she completed residency in internal medicine and endocrinology fellowship with a focus in pituitary disorders in Romania. Subsequently, she completed another internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University and an endocrinology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. She has been involved in clinical research since 1987, with interest particularly in pituitary and thyroid disorders. She has coauthored several book chapters on pituitary and thyroid pathology and numerous abstracts published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Fleseriu is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in endocrinology. She is a guest speaker on various topics related to pituitary disease.
