When
on the Marquam Hill Campus, you can contact the Office of
Public Safety by dialing the last five digits of the number
from a campus phone. The on campus emergency number
is 4-444 and for non-emergencies, the number is 4-7744.
(When dialing from off campus or from a telephone that is
not a campus phone, dial 503-494-7744 for non-emergencies
and 503-494-4444 for emergencies.)
Located throughout the Marquam Hill Campus are yellow
emergency boxes that will connect you directly to the Public
Safety dispatcher when you push the red button. If
you have an emergency, you may also use the phone or button
located inside any of the university elevators. These
lines go directly to the Public Safety dispatcher. The Public Safety Website has
information regarding their services to the OHSU community
as well as a database for lost and found items brought to
their office.
911
911 is the telephone number to call for an ambulance,
fire or to contact the police. For non-emergencies,
your telephone book will have the phone numbers for your
neighborhood police station. You can call from your
home phone, a cell phone or a public telephone with no charge.
Poison Control
Poison Control can be reached at 503-494-8968. They
respond to calls from people experiencing a poisoning or
toxic exposure. However, if the victim has collapsed
or is not breathing, skip Poison Control and call 911.
