Regularly Scheduled Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call (503.494.8665) to talk with the advice nurse and make an appointment. If you call before the clinic is open, or after hours, the triage/advice nurse will find your message in the morning after 8 AM and call you back. (In this case, be sure to leave a number and time when you can be reached.) If you come to the clinic to make an appointment, or for advice, or for any other reason, sometimes it is difficult to talk privately with the receptionist because others may be present and it might limit what you feel comfortable saying. It might help to write down your concerns first. If you can talk on the phone with the nurse it protects your confidentiality and the RN can often find the best solution. If you walk in to the clinic without an appointment,
you will see the triage RN who will take a history of your problem
and if you need to see the clinician (physician or nurse practitioner
or psychologist) she will help arrange the most appropriate time for
the visit. If you do come as a “walk-in” try to come in early
in the morning or afternoon, or call first, since there may be better
scheduling flexibility at those times, rather than later in the morning
or in the afternoon. Please contact askshs@ohsu.edu for additions or changes to this page. This page was last updated May 23rd, 2006 by AS, askshs@ohsu.edu
