MDA Program
Co-directors Edward Cupler, M.D. and Jau-Shin Lou, M.D., Ph.D.

The Neuromuscular Disease Center hosts the MDA Program for the Portland and Southwest Washington area.

The MDA Program at OHSU provides an interdisciplinary approach to diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of adults and children with neuromuscular diseases.

 The clinic staff includes neurology, physiatry, physical and occupational therapy, orthotist and a representative from the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Affiliated with the clinic are genetics, pulmonology, cardiology and gastroenterology.

The MDA sponsors the Muscular Dystrophy Program and covers over 40 of the neuromuscular disorders.
