Patient Education

Patient education is one of primary goals of the Neuromuscular Disease Center.

Knowledge of one's condition is of benefit not only to the individual, but to their

families and caregivers, and their healthcare providers as well.

The Internet is a very powerful tool for gaining information. There is plenty of misleading, and incomplete information to be found. You should discuss all information that you have found with your healthcare providers.

The following links provide a starting point for gaining information about various conditions.
